Since 2015, Hindbag has been committed to sustainable and ethical fashion dedicated to the slow fashion movement by offering collections of ethical and eco-responsible bags and supporting ethical working conditions.
All of their bags are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, and manufactured within a NGO that works to empower women by training them in sewing and paying them fairly.
Today, Hindbag represents the NGO's largest source of income thanks to its goodies business for businesses and its ethical brand for the general public. By relying on the know-how of the seamstresses and the activity of Hindbag, the NGO has succeeded in becoming financially independent. All profits help to work for Women Empowerment, children's education, and the fight against malnutrition, the 3 main commitments of SSMI.
